Devices equipped with locating receivers, eg GPS via a built-in antenna, can receive signals from appropriate satellites that allow to determine, among others, geographical location. The accuracy of the measurements obtained depends directly on the visibility of the satellites on the celestial sphere – their number and the current constellation, as well as on the quality / type of the localization module used by the manufacturer. For the sake of the accuracy of readings when using the positioning function, do not touch or cover the area of the built-in antenna (refer to the user’s guide for information on its placement). The device should be provided with direct visibility of the sky. Using the receiver under the conditions listed below may adversely affect the accuracy and speed of location determination or prevent it:
between buildings, inside buildings, in tunnels, in underground passages, ravines, in the immediate vicinity or inside a densely forested area, etc.
during unfavorable weather conditions (eg high clouds, precipitation, atmospheric discharges)
proximity of high voltage sources or other electromagnetic field generators
